Friday nights

Friday nights.
They used to consist of getting ready for a big date, dances, or the big football game!
Now they consist of waiting patiently for the Hubby to walk through the door, me running out the door, giving the Hubby a quick kiss and yelling, "Money on the table for pizza! Bye!" as the tires to the minivan screech in an effort to keep up the the pressure I am putting on the gas pedal.

I'm outta there.

And where do I go?

Here:

I don't know why in the world they decided to name their restaurant Sushi.com, but whatever. The yumminess makes up for it.

Who do I go with?
Why, these lovely ladies! Jolie and Bernadette.
I love these gals.

This girl loves everything sushi. She even ordered Oysters at dinner. Ew, She says they were GREAT, but I will just take her word for it. She's my irreverent friend who asks me "Is it true that Mormons have to have 7 kids or they won't go to Heaven?" She shares my love for gossip magazines and she is a neat freak. That woman has the cleanest house I have ever seen.
I met Jolie about 5 1/2 years ago when I started working at WAMU up on the south hill. She trained me, and we had babies together. Not together, but you know what I mean. Now we are both stay at home mommies!
Her adorable Jake and Gracie are buds, as are Stella and Madelynn.
See?
Buds.

And Miss Bernadette.
She's been my BFF for the last 6 1/2 years. I met her at church and she was the first one at church to notice the huge rock on my finger the day after I got engaged, so I new we would bond. I can always count on her to help me through tough times and to make me laugh. She's my shopping partner and the best price negotiator around. Seriously.
You should see the girl yard sale.
Plus she's super crafty. Check her out here.

ANYWAY, back to my story.
After filling our stomachs with raw food, it's time to hit Scrapper's Attic. They host Crop Night every Friday, so all us mommas can get away and have adult conversation. It's free and you can bring all your scrapbook crap and work on other projects. It's really nice because you can shop for stuff as your scrapbooking. Win-win.

Hard at work.
Jolie's sister came too, but for some reason I didn't get her picture.

This is how I scrapbook. Or maybe telling a story. Or both.
You can always count on your BFF to take a flattering shot.

The lady I will miss the most.
Not Jolie, the lady behind her.
See her?
This lady can talk.
And talk.
And talk.
And...well, you get the picture.

I will miss these gals and our weekly night out.

P.S. Clancy left about 3 hours ago for Yakima, and so far so good. Did a little crying and then got over it. Now if I can survive tonight, SCORE.
No offers on the house yet. Prayers much needed please. :)
